What is particularly unique about this test is that it is self administered over the Internet by the client. The test is called the Self Administered Global Apperception ScalesTM (the SAGASTM) and involves simply telling a story to some pictures. This follows one of the most well established approaches to understanding the "inner world" of the person. Indeed, it is through our fantasies that we communicate our deepest truths. The test takes about fifteen minutes to do and is actually fun! The SAGASTM is scored through a computer program that assesses the responses on a variety of dimensions that have been shown over thirty yearsof research to be relevant to a person's cognitive and emotional functioning.
